Warszawskie Sklepy Cynamonowe was a Christmas collaboration between five Warsaw-based brands.
Inspired by Bruno Schulz’s literature. I was responsible for visual aspects of this project.
Lukullus is a famous in Warsaw pastry shop.
For them I made 9 cake packaging designs.
Before sketching, I received paper boxes prototypes.
This helped me a lot to understand how the packaging could be used.
All of the illustrations were hand-drawn on paper and then scanned.

I had a huge artistic freedom. Every sketch I have made was used for the final design.
I wanted this illustrations to be dreamy festive, intricate.

I wanted them to be folkish and Polish – but not in the obvious way.

For the bear packaging, my main inspiration was kolęda processions.
Some of the illustration details are reveales when packaging lid is taken off.
These designs were playful for me, as I could place the illustrations in hidden aras.
Also I redrew Lukullus’ logo to match handmade texture of the illustrations.
